Singham Returns Eyes More Box-Office Records

Rohit Shetty's directorial venture Singham Returns, starring Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor, remained steady at the box office, collecting Rs 4.25 crore on Saturday, Bollywood website koimoi.com said in a report.

This takes Singham Returns total domestic box-office collection to Rs 120.55 crore, says the report. Singham Returns so far is the second highest Bollywood grosser of 2014, after Kick, the report adds.

Singham Returns has helped many of its cast or crew set new box-office benchmarks. Singham Returns is Ajay Devgn's fifth Rs 100 crore grosser and the fastest to reach that mark, the website said in a separate report. Salman Khan leads the pack with seven Rs 100 crore grossers, the report adds.

Singham Returns also marks director Rohit Shetty's fifth Rs 100 crore grosser. Rohit Shetty has delivered hits like Golmaal series, Singham, Bol Bachchan and Chennai Express. For Kareena Kapoor, Singham Returns is also her fifth Rs 100 crore grosser, a record she shares with Sonakshi Sinha, says the report.
