Shriram EPC bags Rs 214 crore orders

Shriram EPC Ltd, service providers of integrated design, engineering, procurement and construction has bagged multiple orders worth Rs 214 crore.

The award includes Rs 157 crore from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd for undertaking civil, structural and underground piping works for the integrated refinery expansion project at Kochi Refinery. The project is expected to be completed in 15 months, a company statement said.

The city-based company has also bagged two orders amounting to Rs 57 crore from the Municipal Corporation of Brihanmumbai - the sewerage operations department, Mumbai for rehabilitation of underground sewers using trenchless technology with GRP liners. Both orders are expected to be completed in 21 months, it said.

"While the demand environment is subdued for most of our engineering verticals, our water division continues to thrive due to order wins from municipalities, large PSUs as well as private enterprises," Shriram EPC Ltd Managing Director and CEO T Shivaraman said.

"Our engineering business is going from strength to strength following divestment of subsidiaries and non-core assets earlier this year," he added.

Shriram EPC has offices in Gurgaon, Kolkata, Beijing. The company's EPC project covers East Africa, Europe, West Asia besides India, the statement added.
