New Delhi: Leading industrialist Ratan Tata has invested in e-ticketing company Kyazoonga in his personal capacity.

The company, however, did not disclose the details of the funding or the total amount it has raised till date.

The Tata Sons chairman emeritus has made investments in over 25 start-ups in the last two years, including online marketplace Snapdeal, digital wallet provider Paytm, cab hailing service Ola, data analytics company Tracxn Technologies, online pet supplies store Dogspot.in and online lingerie store Zivame.

"As we scale Kyazoonga into a global enterprise, glad to know he shares in the excitement of our mission of 'Tickets made simple for everyone, everywhere'," Kyazoonga CEO and co-founder Neetu Bhatia said.

The company will continue to focus its efforts on the large potential for paid access that India represents and push the envelope on significant global opportunities, she added.

Kyazoonga has ticketed major international events including the ICC Cricket World Cup in three countries, the FIFA World Cup qualifiers, the SAFF Cup and bilateral international cricket matches, and domestic tournaments like the Indian Premier League, the Pro Kabaddi League and the Nehru Cup.

Apart from India, Kyazoonga has ticketing operations in the UAE, the US and the Caribbean.
