Prestige Estates soars 12% on robust demand

Stocks of South Indian realty major Prestige Estates traded with big gains in a flat market Friday. At 1300 hours, Prestige Estates traded with 12 per cent gains on the Bombay Stock Exchange. In contrast, the BSE Sensex was up 10 points, or 0.06 per cent.



Analysts said the company is witnessing robust business with orders worth Rs 2,790 crore.  The company has been beating its sales targets for 4-5 quarters in a row.  It has already surpassed its FY 12 pre-sales guidance.



A recent mid-income launch in Chennai has seen encouraging response.
