Praj Industries Q4 Net Profit Jumps 76% to Over Rs 36 Crore

New Delhi: Global process solutions company Praj Industries on Thursday reported 76 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 36.61 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.

The company had clocked a net profit of Rs 20.78 crore in the corresponding period of 2013-14 fiscal.

Total income during the quarter under review decreased to Rs 306.19 crore from Rs 349.43 crore in the same quarter of 2013-14 fiscal, the company said in a statement.

For the entire 2014-15 fiscal, the company's net profit increased to Rs 76.27 crore from Rs 54.63 crore in 2013-14.

Total income from operations in 2014-15 increased to Rs 1,011.85 crore from Rs 985.84 crore in 2013-14.

"We ended the fiscal on a positive note, driven by balanced growth across business segments and geographies. Our growth prospects are exciting, backed by a strong order book, fundamentally sound operations and a steadily improving macro-economic outlook," Praj Industries CEO and MD Gajanan Nabar said in the statement.
