How Patanjali-BSNL Rs 144 Plan Compares With Telecom Plans Of Other Companies
Yoga guru Ramdev's Patanjali Ayurved recently announced a mobile SIM and telecom tariff plans in partnership with state-run BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited). The move by Patanjali Ayurved and its partner BSNL comes amid high competition in the telecom sector. To be used with the Patanjali-BSNL SIM, the telecom plans announced by the companies are priced from Rs 144 to Rs 1,584. Currently available to Patanjali group staff, the mobile SIM is expected to further intensify competition in the sector led by Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio, say analysts. But how do the Patanjali-BSNL telecom plans compare with peers? Patanjali and BSNL have decided to offer three options to the subscribers, priced at Rs 144, Rs 792 and Rs 1,584. The plans come with fixed benefits for different validity periods under these plans. Subscribers will get 2 GBs of mobile data per day, 100 SMSes per day and free voice calls including roaming under these plans.
