All the BSE sectoral indices ended in the green, with exception of realty and FMCG indices; the BSE Healthcareindex zoomed by 2.4 per cent to emerge as the top sectoral gainer on the BSE
The broader markets outperformed the large-cap counterparts, with the BSE Midcap index and BSE Smallcap index gaining around 1.5 per cent each
Buying was visible across sectors as sixteen of 19 sector gauges compiled by the BSE were trading higher
Another steel producer, Tata Steel Ltd said the company would vaccinate its employees as per the government guidelines when vaccines were made available.
The domestic stock markets are likely to open in the green after a day's paused due to positive cues from across the global markets.
