New Delhi: Dairy firm Kwality on Wednesday reported a 19 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 42.27 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2016.
The company had registered a net profit of Rs 35.43 crore for the corresponding period a year ago, it said in a regulatory filing.
Income from operations rose 5.5 per cent to Rs 1,473.59 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal year, from Rs 1,396.46 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Kwality has six plants with a milk processing capacity of 3.4 million litres per day. The company sells milk and other dairy products under brand Dairy Best.
