Property consultancy firm Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) has appointed Juggy Marwaha as its managing director for South India operations.
Mr Marwaha, who will take charge from September 2, will be responsible for the company's operations in South India and work towards growing the business footprint for the firm in the region, Jones Lang LaSalle said in a statement in Mumbai on Wednesday.
"He (Mr Marwaha) will bring into play his established reputation as a commercial real estate expert on the South Indian market," said Santhosh Kumar, CEO of operations at JLL India.
Mr Marwaha was a natural choice to provide strategic leadership to the region as he has managed a variety of complex and coveted assignments across Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai, he said.
With his experience in working closely with leading global IT and BFSI clients, he is appropriately positioned to play an impactful role in fortifying and expanding some of the firm's business locations, said Mr Kumar.
Prior to joining JLL, Mr Marwaha was working with Mantri Developers. Before that, he spent almost 12 years with RMZ Corp.
