New Delhi: JK Cements on Saturday reported a 58 per cent fall in consolidated net profit at Rs 13.72 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015.
The firm had clocked a net profit of Rs 32.31 crore for the corresponding period a year ago, it said in a filing to the BSE.
Total standalone income of the firm, however, rose 5 per cent to Rs 870.30 crore in the second quarter of the current fiscal year as against Rs 830.67 crore in the year-ago period.
Total expenses were also higher at Rs 800 crore, as against Rs 770 crore a year ago.
JK Cement has an installed grey cement capacity of 10.5 MTPA (million tonnes per annum).
