IRB Infra Q3 Profit Up 22% at Rs 132 Crore

New Delhi: IRB Infrastructure Developers on Thursday reported a 22.14 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 132.55 crore for the quarter ended December 2014, on the back of higher income from operations.

The infrastructure firm had reported a net profit of Rs 108.52 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

Income from operations for the quarter under review rose 9.87 per cent to Rs 963.82 crore from Rs 877.22 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.

Total expenses increased to Rs 587.30 crore from Rs 554.45 crore.

The company undertakes development of various infrastructure projects in the road sector through several special purpose vehicles.

The company, along with its subsidiaries has constructed or operated and maintained around 9,295 lane kms of road length so far and is one of the major road developers in the country.

Shares in IRB Infra, on Thursday, ended at Rs 254.25 apiece on the BSE, down 2.16 per cent from the previous close.
