Interglobe Aviation shares have edged higher in a subdued market after the aviation company reported its results for the March quarter. The company reported a widening in net loss to Rs 1,147 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 2021 as against a net loss of Rs 870.81 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. At 11:30 am, Interglobe Aviation shares were trading at Rs 1,757.90, higher by 0.20 per cent, on the BSE.
The airline's revenue from operations declined 25 per cent to Rs 6,222.95 crore in the quarter under consideration.
the airline company posted an EBITDAR (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, amortisation and restructuring or rent costs) of Rs 648.30 crore during the quarter, with EBITDAR margin of 10.4 per cent.
The BSE Sensex was trading higher by 0.18 per cent and the NSE Nifty was higher by 0.4 per cent at the time.
