Indian Terrain Q2 Net increases five-fold to Rs 4.18 crore

Men's brands Indian Terrain today reported near five-fold rise in its net profit at Rs 4.18 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2013.

The company had posted a profit of Rs 0.84 crore in the same period of previous fiscal, Indian Terrain said in BSE filing.

Company's net sales increased to Rs 64.16 crore in the July-September 2013 quarter compared to Rs 45.82 crore in the same period a year ago.

For the first half (H1) of 2013-14 fiscal, Indian Terrain profit increased to Rs 6.44 crore as against Rs 1.07 crore in the year-ago period.

Indian Terrain total income from operations in first half period (April-September) increased to Rs 105.02 crore as against Rs 72.17 crore in the same period last year.
