New Delhi: India Cements on Friday reported a standalone net profit of Rs 36.60 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.
The cement maker had reported a net loss of Rs 157.12 crore for the corresponding period a year ago.
Standalone total income from operations during the quarter was at Rs 1,043.10 crore, registering a decline of 7.25 per cent from a year ago, India Cements said in a filing to the BSE.
For the full year 2014-15, standalone net profit stood at Rs 29.45 crore. In 2013-14, it had reported a net loss of Rs 162.41 crore.
Total income, however, dropped to Rs 4,453.85 crore in 2014-15, from Rs 4,496.81 crore a year ago.
On consolidated basis, India Cements reduced significantly its loss to Rs 1.19 crore in 2014-15, from Rs 242.45 crore loss during FY14.
Total income decreased to Rs 5,082.85 crore for the year ended March 31, 2015, from Rs 5,109.05 crore for the year ended March 31, 2014, the filing said.
Shares in India Cements, on Friday, ended flat at Rs 92.35 apiece on the BSE.
