- Idea Cellular's Rs 357 plan offers 1.5 GB daily data for 28 days
- Idea's prepaid plan offers free SMSes upto a daily limit of 100
- The plan offers outgoing roaming calls only on Idea network
Just as other telcos such as Airtel, Vodafone and Jio, Idea Cellular has launched the prepaid recharge plans for the excessive internet data users. Along with the data, outgoing calls and smses are also offered free. Though various plans are offered for different time duration, one should plan for monthly plans so as to spare the worries of regular recharges.
Idea Cellular's Rs 357 prepaid recharge plan: The plan offers 1.5 GB daily data along with unlimited local and STD calls and free roaming outgoing calls. However, the outgoing calls must be made on the Idea Cellular network. The plan also offers free smses upto a daily limit of 100 (local and STD both). The plan is valid for 28 days. One can recharge the plan online or alternatively, you can self-recharge by dialling *150*357. The plan has some other benefits also such as 100% cashback offer and additional one GB free internet data on recharge through 'My Idea' App and the Idea's official website.
Airtel's prepaid recharge plan for Rs 349 allows its prepaid subscribers unlimited local/STD calls along with 2 GB of daily data (in comparison to Idea's 1.5 GB) for a validity period of 28 days.
Similarly, Vodafone offers prepaid recharge plan for Rs 348 that has 2 GB daily data (just as Airtel and more than Idea's 1.5 GB) along with unlimited calls (local and STD) along with free roaming. If you compare the respective plans of three telcos, you will realise that Airtel and Vodaone offer more data (2 GB per day) in comparison to Idea Cellular that offers 1.5 GB internet data every day. One must notice that Idea also puts limits on roaming calls (can be made only to Idea network) as well as on the smses (up to a maximum of 100 a day).
