ICICI raises $750 million in bonds from overseas market

Private sector lender ICICI Bank has raised $750 million through bonds in the international market. The five-and-a-half-year fixed rate notes carry a coupon rate of 4.70 per cent, ICICI Bank said in a statement.
The bonds were sold through its Dubai branch. The offering had an order book of $5.7 billion with interest from over 312 investors.
ICICI Bank has consolidated total assets of $119 billion as on March 31, 2012.
Shares in the company traded 1.5 per cent lower at Rs 955.25 on the NSE at 03.06 p.m.
