Holcim elevates Budhraja to group level

Swiss major Holcim has promoted Ramit Budhraja, currently Chief Executive Officer of the South West Division of ACC, to lead the Customer Excellence Initiative at the group level.

Announcing Budhraja's appointment as part of the process of streamlining the group organisation, Holcim said he would also stay put at the current position until the appointment of a successor.

"He will report to Urs Bleisch," Holcim said in a press release. Bleisch, heading the Project Management Office in Holcim, is a member of senior management of the company.

Budhraja, 51, is a part of the seven-member managing committee in ACC. Company CEO and Managing Director Kuldip Kaura is heading the committee. Budhraja is also a member of the ACC board.

ACC Limited, a leading cement manufacturer in India, is part of Holcim Group.

Budhraja has also served as the Chief Executive of the Eastern Region of ACC and its Business Head in the East.

An B.Tech and MBA, Budhraja joined the Holcim Group on May 1, 2006 and since then he has been working with the Group. A veteran in the industry, he has more than 25 years of experience in the field.
