Have you applied for Aadhaar but have not received it yet? Or misplaced your Aadhaar card/Aadhaar letter? The UIDAI or Unique Identification Authority of India has provided a tool on its portal - uidai.gov.in - that enables Aadhaar holders/applicants to retrieve the UID (Unique Identity Number) or EID (Enrolment ID). An Aadhaar applicant - having submitted his or her Aadhaar application or Aadhaar letter - or Aadhaar card holder can use the UIDAI portal to retrieve the UID or EID (enrolment ID) on their registered mobile number. This is the phone number fed into the UIDAI database while applying for Aadhaar card or updated through the UIDAI portal after issuance of UID/Aadhaar card.
You can actually request the UIDAI to send the information on your registered mobile number.
