Half Girlfriend Gets Over 5 Lakh Hits on YouTube
The promo for Half Girlfriend, Chetan Bhagat's next novel has got more than 5 lakh views in 3 days on YouTube. The video was uploaded on Tuesday.
"Text only. No cars blowing up. No famous or pretty people. Simple Half Girlfriend promo crosses half million views," Mr Bhagat tweeted on Friday with the YouTube link. He also took to his Facebook page and posted the same thing.

The first chapter of Half Girlfriend was also teased on Mr Bhagat's website and Facebook on Tuesday. He put it up on the social networking site after his site crashed.
"The first chapter of Half Girlfriend is on my site. Unfortunately, it has crashed due to traffic and will be up soon. Will share link then," Mr Bhagat had tweeted.

Half Girlfriend is due to be released mid-October this year, according to e-commerce retailer Flipkart. The book is exlusively available on Flipkart and can be pre-booked at a discounted price of Rs 149. Flipkart is offering a 15 per cent discount on the maximum retail price (MRP) of Rs 176.
The 280-page book is being published by Rupa Publication India.
