Ford India November Sales Up 35%

New Delhi: Ford India on Tuesday reported a 34.78 per cent surge in total sales at 17,189 units last month.

The company had sold 12,762 units in November 2014.

Ford India's domestic sales were at 8,773 units last month, up 54.97 per cent from 5,661 units a year ago, Ford India said in a statement.

It said exports during the month stood at 8,416 units as against 7,101 units in November 2014- an increase of 18.51 per cent.

Ford India executive director-marketing, sales and service Anurag Mehrotra said: "Our product-led transformation strategy is paying dividends as Ford has outpaced the industry growth yet again."

Ford's new product portfolio that delivers the right balance between power and fuel efficiency, safety and smart technology, continues to find resonance with Indian customers, he added.
