Five facts about the new Xylo

The Xylo now comes with luxurious interiors, as well as the M-Hawk engine for the top-end version.

India's leading utility vehicle maker Mahindra and Mahindra on Wednesday launched an upgraded model of its multu-purpose vehicle (MPV) Xylo.

The new version  improves upon the earlier one both on the engine front as well as the overall look and feel, but will also come with a higher price tag.

Her are five things you should know about the new Xylo.  

At Rs 7.37 lakh – Rs 10.25 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi),, the new Xylo will now cost Rs15,000 more.


Under the hood, the top-end E9 model gets the MHawk engine, currently also in the XUV 500 and the Scorpio


The interiors also get an upgrade, including leather upholstery, wood finish chrome insert and a two-tone walnut brown theme


On the outside, there is a new changed front grille, updated bonnet design with an integrated Mahindra logo, and new headlamps and tail lights.


Other add-ons incliude  steering-mounted audio controls for ease of surfing channels or skipping songs, as well as voice control technology.
