Elecon Engineering Q4 net at Rs 23.89 crore

Vinod Dasari, managing director, Ashok Leyland, told NDTV Profit that the company is planning to make about 36,000 vehicles in FY13-14. “We are happy about the exports market that we have developed. Southern markets are seeing revival,” he added.

Elecon Engineering yesterday reported a standalone net profit of Rs 23.89 crore for the January-March quarter, almost same as in the corresponding period of 2010-11.

The Net sales of the company was up 26 per cent to Rs 439.04 crore over Rs 347.53 crore in Q4 FY'11, it said in filing to the BSE.

The company did not reported consolidated results for the January-March quarter.

For the full year 2011-12, the company reported a over 32 per cent decline in its consolidated net profit to Rs 61.10 crore. Its net sales in FY'12 were Rs 1,601.29 crore.
