Den Networks Posts Loss of Rs 51 Cr in Q1

New Delhi: Cable television services firm Den Networks Ltd on Saturday reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 51.89 crore for the fiscal first quarter that ended on June 30, 2015.

The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 1.12 crore for the corresponding period a year ago.

Total revenue on a consolidated basis during the quarter under review declined 11.11 per cent to Rs 265.60 crore from Rs 298.81 crore a year ago, Den Networks said in a filing to the BSE.

Meanwhile, Den Networks in a separate filing informed the BSE that its board of directors has approved reappointment of Sameer Manchanda as chairman managing director, on recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, subject to approval of the shareholders.
