Cox & Kings Posts Profit of Rs 107 Crore in Q3

New Delhi: Tours and travel firm Cox & Kings on Friday reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 106.71 crore for the quarter ended December.

The company had posted a net loss of Rs 13.94 crore for the corresponding period a year ago, it said in a filing to the BSE.

Its net sales on consolidated basis were up 9.56 per cent during the period under review at Rs 510.57 crore as against Rs 465.98 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.

The company's total expenses during the period were also up 6.72 per cent at Rs 435.36 crore as against Rs 407.93 crore in the year-ago period.

Shares in Cox & Kings, on Friday, ended 0.59 per cent higher at Rs 206.05 apiece on the BSE, whose benchmark Sensex index finished up 1.14 per cent.
