New Delhi:

Highlights

  1. Dinesh Thakkar, chairman and managing director at Angel Broking says that more than liquidity, inflation is matter of concern for the markets.

Brokerage firm CLSA has maintained its 'sell' call on the market leader in the two-wheeler space Hero MotoCorp. The two-wheeler space is heading for stiff competition, it said in a report.

Hero might face the biggest competition from its erstwhile partner Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) Limited. HMSI is planning an aggressive advertising campaign, targeting rural markets with its new campaign.

The advertising campaign will coincide with the launch of a new 110cc bike 'Dream Yuga' in June 2012.
CLSA expects rising competition from Honda over FY13-14.

Shares of Hero MotoCorp traded flat in trade today. Over the past month (since 24 February), shares of the company have fallen nearly 3.5%, outperforming the Sensex which has fallen nearly 4.5%.
