Chennai Floods: TVS Motor, Bajaj Auto to Offer Free Service Camps

Four motorcycle companies including TVS Motor, India Yamaha Motor, Bajaj Auto and Eicher Motors
will hold free service camps for 10 days to repair vehicles damaged in the floods and heavy rains.
The companies decided to conduct the camps on request of Chief Minister Jayalalithaa.

"I have requested TVS Motor Company, India Yamaha Motor, Bajaj Auto, Eicher Motors to provide free service and based upon that, the companies have decided to conduct camps", she said in an official release.

Two-wheelers and autorickshaws were largely affected in Chennai, Kancheepuram, Thiruvallur, Cuddalore districts due to heavy rains that flooded several areas of Tamil Nadu, she said.

The camps would be held in Chennai, Thiruvallur and Cuddalore districts from December 12 to 21 at various locations, she said.
