Nykaa's Rs 5,352 crore initial public offering (IPO) will open for subscription on Thursday i.e. October 28. The primary market offering will comprise a fresh issue of Rs 630 crore and an offer for sale of 4.19 crore shares. Nykaa has fixed the issue price at Rs 1,085-1,125 per share. The IPO will close on November 1 and the shares are likely to be listed on both BSE and NSE.
Existing investors, including TPG Growth IV SF Pte and Lighthouse India Fund, will offload their holdings in the IPO. Ahead of its initial public offering, Nykaa and Nykaa Fashion operator FSN E-Commerce Ventures garnered Rs 2,396 crore from 174 anchor investors.
Investors can bid for a minimum of 12 shares and in multiples of 12 shares thereafter, up to 14 lots. The offer includes a reservation of up to 250,000 shares for purchase by eligible employees, the company said in a statement.
Nykaa will utilise the the IPO proceeds to invest in its subsidiaries - FSN Brands and/or Nykaa Fashion, establish new retail stores and for capital expenses.
Nykaa, founded by banker-turned-businesswoman Falguni Nayar, was incorporated in 2012. India's first woman-led unicorn runs the beauty and personal care segment through the Nykaa vertical and apparel and accessories vertical via Nykaa Fashion. It offers 4,000 beauty, personal care and fashion brands through its website, app and 80-odd brick-and-mortar stores.
BofA Securities India, Citigroup Global Markets India, ICICI Securities, JM Financial Consultants, Kotak Mahindra Capital Company and Morgan Stanley India Company are the lead managers of the public offering.
