Ballarpur Industries Q3 Net Rises 22.77 Per Cent to Rs 15.42 Crore

Paper major Ballarpur Industries Ltd on Monday reported a 22.77 per cent increase in consolidated profit after tax at Rs 15.42 crore for the third quarter that ended on March 31, 2014.

The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 12.56 crore for the corresponding quarter a year ago, it said in a filing to the BSE.

Consolidated net sales of the company rose to Rs 1,354.29 crore in the quarter under review, as  compared to Rs 1,230.69 crore for the same period a year ago.

BILT follows the July-June cycle as fiscal year.

Shares in Ballarpur Industries, on Monday, ended at Rs 14.66 apiece on the BSE, up 0.62 per cent from the previous close.
