"Bajaj Auto today announced the launch of the highly anticipated Kawasaki Ninja 300," the Pune-based company said in a statement.
In India, the new bike will be sold and serviced through Bajaj Auto's Probiking stores, it added.
"We conceived Bajaj Probiking eight years back with the objective of making it the automatic destination for bike enthusiasts looking for sports bikes. In addition to the KTM range, the Kawasaki Ninja 300 is a step further in realising that objective," Rajiv Bajaj, managing director of Bajaj Auto, said.
The Ninja 300 replaces and improves upon the existing Ninja 250R, the statement said.
