Bajaj Finserv Q1 Profit Up 46% at Rs 467 Cr

New Delhi: Financial services company Bajaj Finserv on Wednesday reported a 46.19 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 466.90 crore for the quarter ended June 30.

The group's net profit after taxes, minority interest and share of profit of associates in the April-June quarter of the last fiscal year was Rs 319.37 crore.

Total income of the group increased to Rs 2,211.86 crore for the quarter under review as against Rs 1,629.93 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.

On a standalone basis, Bajaj Finserv had posted a net profit of Rs 13.59 crore in the first quarter of current fiscal year, up 70.5 per cent over the year-ago period.

It had a net profit of Rs 7.97 crore in the first quarter of 2014-15.

Standalone total income increased to Rs 39.08 crore during the quarter from Rs 25.54 crore in the same period a year ago.

Bajaj Finserv shares, on Wednesday, ended 1.09 per cent lower at Rs 1,675.25 apiece on the BSE.
