Bajaj Auto Falls on Poor February Sales Numbers

Shares of Bajaj Auto slumped over 5 per cent to Rs 2051 in trades on Monday after the two-wheeler maker said that its sales for the month of February declined 22 per cent.

 

Bajaj Auto said that it sold 2,43,319 vehicles in February compared to 3,13,294 vehicles sold in February last year.

 

The motorcycle sales of the company declined 21 per cent to 2,16,000 units.

 

Exports for the period came down by 20 per cent to 1,12,909 units.

 

Bajaj Auto ended weaker by 4 per cent at Rs 2,075.
