Nuno F. Gomes Loureiro, MIT nuclear science professor, died from multiple gunshot wounds. He was shot at his Massachusetts home on Dec 15 and died on Dec 16. Loureiro was the director of MIT's Plasma Science and Fusion Centre in 2024.
