Pakistan hopes talks will lead to dialogue

Islamabad: On the eve of talks with India, Islamabad says it hopes they will lead to resumption of composite dialogue.

In a press release 24 hours before the crucial talks between the Foreign Secretaries of India and Pakistan, the office of the Spokesman of Pakistan has said Pakistan hopes talks with India will be meaningful.

Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir will be visiting New Delhi for meeting with Indian Foreign Secretary Nirupuma Rao on 25 February 2010.

The statement added that Pakistan attaches considerable importance to this meeting, which it hopes will be productive and serve as a precursor to resumption of a meaningful and purposeful dialogue process.
