Seoul:
South Korea brushed off a North Korean ultimatum of military action Tuesday, saying it was "regrettable" and vowing a tough response to any provocation.
"It is regrettable that the North is taking issue with our media reports to mount threats on us," Defence Ministry spokesman Kim Min-Seok told reporters.
