Lawyers for alleged Boston bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev said today that no more defense witnesses would be called to testify in his trial.
"That is all the witnesses that the defense will present," lawyer Tim Watkins informed the court after the testimony of an FBI fingerprint expert called for the defense.
Tsarnaev's lawyers have called only four witnesses since opening their case on Monday. The trial began on March 4.
Tsarnaev, 21, could face the death penalty if convicted for the April 2013 attacks on the Boston Marathon which left three people dead and wounded 264.
At the outset of the trial, Tsarnaev's attorneys admitted the young Muslim was responsible for the bombings but said he had been led astray by his elder brother, who was killed in a shoot-out with police in the days after the attacks.
