Malala Yousafzai stable, making good progress, say doctors
London: Malala Yousafzai, the 15-year-old Pakistani girl who was shot in the head by the Taliban for advocating girls' education, continues to make good progress and remains in a stable condition, doctors said today.

In a statement, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, said: "Doctors treating Malala Yousafzai said she continues to make good progress and remains in a stable condition at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham."

The statement said there will be no further updates on Malala's condition until November 5.

Malala is being treated at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital after she was flown to the UK for treatment at the specialist hospital after she was shot on October 9.
