A restaurant in Dhaka's high-security Gulshan area is under attack by unidentified gunmen, who have also taken nearly 20 hostages, reports have said. Bangladesh police and terrorists have exchanged fire.
The Bangladesh Prime Minister visited a stadium where the bodies of the victims from the weekend attack in Bangladesh's capital were taken, as security officials search for evidence and the possible masterminds behind the attack.

Not all victims are foreigners: Bangladesh Army
Hours after the siege ended, there is still no exact breakdown of the casualties. The Bangladesh Army now says most of the victims were Italian or Japanese but not all were foreigners. The Army had said earlier on Saturday that all 20 people killed were foreign.

NDTV has learnt from sources that an Indian doctor, Satyapal, was also among the hostages who were rescued this morning.
Tarishi Jain was a 19-year-old student at UC Berkeley who was on vacation in Dhaka, says Indian foreign ministry. Her father, Sanjeev Jain, runs a garment business in Bangladesh for last 15-20 years, sources said.
An Indian woman, named Tarishi, was among 20 killed in the Dhaka cafe hostage.

A large number of policemen and Rapid Action Battalion have cordoned off the restaurant. According to police, about five armed men entered Holey Artisan Bakery, popular with foreigners and opened gunfire around 9:20 PM (local time).
A kitchen staff of the bakery, who managed to escape, said several armed men entered the restaurant around 8:45 PM and took the chief chef hostage, local media reported.
