Unconfirmed reports say that Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has been killed in an airstrike in Iraq.
On Sunday, two Iraqi officials and state television had said that an airstrike in western Iraq had wounded the leader of the Islamic State group, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. Pentagon officials said they had no information on such a strike or al-Baghdadi being wounded.
