Melbourne:
A 28-year-old Indian man allegedly committed suicide in Melbourne's suburban locality. Ruchi Kumar Patel was found dead at his residence in Melbourne suburb Footscray last Wednesday and a note apparently giving the cause of his death was found near his body, sources said.
Patel, a former student, was said to be suffering from depression for last few months.
According to Federation of Indian Association of Victoria (FIAV), Patel's body would be flown back to India on Monday. There would be a small memorial ceremony to be organised by the community members and the Indian organisation here to pay tribute to Patel before his boy is sent back to Ahmadabad for the last rites, said Vasan Sriniwas of FIAV.
