FBI Interviews Clinton Over Email

On Saturday, Hillary Clinton was interviewed by the FBI at their headquarters.

Hillary Clinton was interviewed by the FBI on Saturday, her campaign says, as the Justice Department investigates whether government secrets were compromised by the private email system she used as secretary of state.

"Secretary Clinton gave a voluntary interview this morning about her email arrangements while she was Secretary," spokesman Nick Merrill said.

"She is pleased to have had the opportunity to assist the Department of Justice in bringing this review to a conclusion."

Merrill added that "out of respect for the investigative process, she will not comment further on her interview."

The long-planned session took place at FBI headquarters and lasted approximately three and a half hours, a statement from her campaign said.

The interview is part of the investigation into he security and safety of her system, kept largely a secret during her four-year tenure.
