A college student in Britain is said to have scooped a 113-million-pound EuroMillions lottery jackpot, a media report said.
The lucky ticket has been bought from a supermarket in an area of Coventry popular with undergraduates. Though no one has yet come forward to claim Britain's biggest lottery win, drawn on October 8, but speculation is rife that a first-year student at Coventry University has won the lottery jackpot, 'The Sun' reported.
Operator Camelot has, however, refused to confirm reports that supermarket Daventry Road Spar sold the ticket.
But last night Coventry University student Adam Bourdon, 18, said, "No one is talking about anything else on campus. The word is the ticket was bought by a first-year student and his mates."
Fellow student Dela Lozanova added, "Hundreds of students go into that shop every day so the chances are it was a student."
The winning numbers were 9, 30, 35, 39 and 46, with lucky star numbers 6 and 8.
