Bill Cosby will return to a Pennsylvania courtroom next month as he tries again to question his accuser before his sexual assault trial.
The entertainer will be in court July 7 in the case involving former Temple University employee Andrea Constand.
A judge upheld the charges last month after a detective read Constand's police statement at the preliminary hearing.
Pennsylvania law currently allows the use of such hearsay testimony. But the state Supreme Court is reviewing the 2015 law.
Defense lawyers therefore want to cross-examine Constand before Cosby is sent to trial. The trial judge has agreed to weigh the request.
