5 Missing After Argentine Fishing Boat Sinks
Buenos Aires:

Five people were missing after an Argentine fishing vessel sank early Wednesday off the Atlantic, coast guard officials said.

Authorities said three people were rescued from the boat, which went down at around dawn, in choppy waters near the town of Villa Gesell, a popular fishing and resort town.

Authorities said the eight-member of the fishing party, all Argentine citizens, were aboard the vessel, the San Jorge I.

The three survivors were found in the water after three hours on a life raft, and were rescued by another passing fishing boat.

A search is continuing for the others in the group, coast guard officials said.
