For a very long time, India never built roads or put up infrastructure along the border with and tried to dissuade China from crossing over. But the stand has changed in the past few years, India is not only building infrastructure, adding more men and machine, but is also marking its territory more closely. The steps are being taken to deter China from any misadventure. For the first time after 1962 India-China war, tanks are back near the border. Besides, the number of men and machine has gone up several time. New roads and bridges too are coming up. The progress, however, is slow.
