Union ministers, chief ministers, industrialists, bureaucrats, movie stars were all in attendance as N Chandrababu Naidu was sworn-in this evening as chief minister of the new state of Andhra Pradesh in a glittering ceremony that cost the taxpayer an estimated Rs 8 crore with an estimated 5 lakh people in attendance. But glitz and glamour aside, the road ahead for the new chief minister is going to be tough one.
