India's rich, still reluctant givers?

According to the last count, 57 of the world's billionaires are Indians. But when you compare how much the wealthy in India contribute with the rest of the world, you find only 10 per cent of the giving in India comes from individuals or corporates; the rest is given by the government or foreign aid agencies. In the US, this number is at a staggering 75 per cent. We debate if Indian corporate houses are still reluctant givers?
