5,000 farmers from across the country will reach Jantar Mantar in Delhi on Monday to protest against the government's controversial land ordinance that takes away a crucial farmers consent clause and does away social impact assessments of land acquisition. Activist Anna Hazare will be spearheading these protests, but that's not the only concern of the government. With Opposition parties also coming together on the issue the stage is set for a stormy budget session of Parliament beginning Monday. As the government hopes for consensus on key reform bills, will the land row play spoilsport? Will it now have to choose between a pro-reform or pro-farmer tag? We debate on The Buck Stops Here.
