Chennai Rains: Worst Over for Devastated City?
Even as Chennai attempts to limp back to normalcy, thousands await relief to reach them. Many are stranded in flooded areas as rescue operations continue in full swing. The city got some respite from incessant rain, but not for too long. The Tamil Nadu government came out and announced that water has receded in many parts of the city and that 80 per cent electricity has been restored. It will take months to rebuild Chennai but is the worst over for now?
