They protect the law and our lives, sometimes at the cost of their own. But, even as India exports state-of-the-art protective bullet-proof armour for security forces world over, our own police personnel are fighting terrorists in plain t-shirts, like the Gurdaspur attack showed. Almost seven years after 26/11, why do our police forces still have to fight terrorists with a hand tied behind their back?
