The one-day old President's Rule in the border state of Arunachal Pradesh is already under scrutiny. The Supreme Court has sought a detailed explanation for why President's Rule has been imposed and has asked the Centre to reply by Friday, January 29. The former Arunachal Chief Minister, Nabam Tuki, meanwhile maintains that 'truth never fails' and that the Congress, which was the state's ruling party, will be able to prove its majority in the Arunachal Pradesh assembly despite facing an upheaval from rebelling party members.
